Integrating interests in learning, coaching, and organizational development into a career, Melissa Daimler currently is the SVP of Talent Acquisition and Development at WeWork in NYC. She is responsible for attracting and developing talent along with helping to re-define how we work. WeWork’s mission is to create a world where people work to make a life, not just a living. Her mission is to create a world in which people use work as a way to become better.
Prior to WeWork, she headed up the global learning and organizational development team at Twitter. She joined in 2012 when the company had only 800 employees and no learning or OD function. Her team executed on management, leadership, and professional development, executive coaching and organizational consulting.
Prior to joining Twitter, Melissa headed the global learning and organizational consulting team at Adobe Systems. Prior to Adobe, Melissa led HR at Epylon for several years. She also built an executive coaching company focused on coaching early-career executives.
Melissa is a frequent conference speaker and panelist and is an enthusiastic contributor to the body of work exploring the integration of organizational and individual development. She sits on the Advisory Board for the University of San Francisco, MSOD program. One of the first coaches certified by the International Coach Federation, Melissa graduated from Pepperdine University with an MS in organizational development.
